Fri - Early morning departure as we travel to Dover joining the P&O ferry to Calais. Continue the journey to Novotel Lille Aeroport hotel and enjoy your evening meal.
Sat - After breakfast at the hotel we depart the hotel and start to make our journey to the Mecure Strasbourg Aeroport Hotel. Later enjoy your evening meal.
Sun - This morning set yourself up for the day with breakfast before we make our way to Italy. We head for the Splendid Sole Hotel in Manerba del Garda, Italy. Sit back and relax whilst taking in the fabulous scenery.
Mon—Today we will meet your half-day step-on guide for a scenic tour of the Colline Moreniche area, including a visit to San Martino; enjoy a lavish antipasti blowout lunch at Trattoria Da Arturo featuring mixed pastas, carne salada e fagioli (a local specialty), dessert, wine, and water; and in the evening, settle into the Hotel Splendid Sole for a 3-course dinner offering three choices per course, including vegetarian options selected at breakfast.
Tue - Immerse yourself in the charm and history of Lake Garda with a guided morning tour of the elegant Villa Bettoni, renowned as one of the region’s most stunning historic homes. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely afternoon and evening at your own pace, whether you choose to explore the picturesque lakeside surroundings or unwind in the comfort of Hotel Splendid Sole’s excellent facilities. Cap the day with a delicious dinner offering a tempting choice of three options per course, crafted to satisfy every palate.
Wed - Today is a day of leisure in Manerba del Garda. Relax and unwind at Hotel Splendid Sole, where you can enjoy the indoor pool, comfortable lounges, and beautiful lake views. When you’re ready to explore, discover the nearby medieval Rocca di Manerba fortress with its stunning vistas, take peaceful walks through the adjacent Rocca e del Sasso nature reserve, or soak up the sun on pristine beaches like Spiaggia Baia Bianca. Visit charming historic churches such as Santa Maria Assunta and Santa Caterina,or savour local Flavors at nearby restaurants and markets .
Thu - Discover the enchanting charm of Bergamo’s historic Città Alta on a guided walking tour with Barbara Sava, complete with a scenic funicular ride offering breathtaking views. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the beauty of the countryside at Cascina Carretto Winery, enjoying a guided vineyard tour followed by a tasting of exquisite regional wines. We will then head back to your hotel for a relaxing evening with dinner provided for your enjoyment.
Fri - Following beakfast we will begin our day with a scenic journey to Strasbourg, where we will settle into the comfortable Mercure Strasbourg Aéroport Hotel. In the evening, indulge in a delicious 3-course set menu dinner, featuring a vegetarian option, perfectly complemented by tea or coffee to end your day.
Sat - Start your day with a refreshing hot and cold buffet breakfast at the Mercure Strasbourg Aéroport before we travel to vibrant Lille. Upon arrival, check in at the modern Novotel Lille Aéroport. In the evening, enjoy a delightful 3-course set menu dinner.
Sun - Enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast at Novotel Lille Aéroport before departing midday for Calais to board your P&O ferry crossing to Dover.
