Itinerary
Friday: Depart via scenic Aberystwyth and arrive in the picturesque seaside town of Tenby, where colourful harbour views, sandy beaches, and winding medieval streets await your afternoon of exploration. Take time to wander through the town’s quaint shops and cafés, maybe enjoy a cream tea by the harbour (not included), or take a gentle stroll along Castle Beach before settling in for dinner at the hotel.
Saturday (Optional Excursion): You can choose to visit Carmarthen’s bustling markets, browsing fresh local produce, artisanal breads, cheeses, and crafts, then continue to the charming market town of Narberth for boutique shopping, galleries, and cosy cafés. Alternatively, stay in Tenby and make the most of the town, its beaches, harbour, and local attractions at a leisurely pace.
Sunday (Optional Excursion): For those who wish to explore further, spend the morning in the historic town of Pembroke, wandering its charming streets, enjoying the local shops, cafés, and riverside views. In the afternoon, you can travel to St Davids to explore the city’s streets and possibly take in a visit the magnificent St Davids Cathedral (open 1–3 pm, local charges may apply.) If you prefer, you can remain in Tenby, relaxing on the beach, strolling around the town, or enjoying local walks and cafés.
Monday: Enjoy a relaxing final morning in Tenby, perhaps taking a last stroll along the beach or around the harbour, before beginning your homeward journey through scenic Mid Wales where you might stop briefly to admire the town and its surroundings.
