Itinerary

Fri – Your break begins with a comfortable P&O ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. From there, continue your journey to Paris and check in at the Mercure La Défense Hotel, your base for the next three nights. The evening is yours to relax at leisure or take a stroll through the strikingly modern La Défense district.

Sat – After breakfast, enjoy a full day and evening at leisure to explore Paris entirely at your own pace. Discover the city as you wish, whether that means strolling through neighbourhoods, relaxing in cafés, shopping in local boutiques or visiting famous landmarks. The rest of the day and evening are yours to spend however you choose, soaking up the atmosphere of Paris in your own way.

Sun – This morning, meet a knowledgeable local guide for a walking tour of Montmartre, the bohemian heart of Paris once home to artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh. Ride the Montmartre funicular up to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, where panoramic views of the city await. Later, relax on a one-hour sightseeing cruise along the Seine, gliding past many of Paris’s most iconic landmarks.

Mon – After breakfast, bid farewell to Paris as you journey back to Calais for your return P&O ferry crossing to Dover, bringing your memorable Paris summer escape to a close.
