Monday: Travel to Scotland & Settle In
Your holiday begins with a comfortable coach journey to Scotland, giving you time to relax, enjoy the scenery and get to know your fellow travellers. On arrival at your hotel, you can check in, settle into your room and enjoy a leisurely evening meal. The rest of the evening is yours to unwind, take a stroll nearby or simply relax after your day of travel.
Tuesday: Glasgow – Scotland’s Vibrant Cultural Capital
After breakfast, your coach will take you to Glasgow, a lively city known for its stunning architecture, museums and warm character. You’ll have time to explore key highlights such as George Square, Buchanan Street and the impressive Glasgow Cathedral. During your visit, we will also visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, one of Scotland’s most popular attractions, home to fascinating collections displayed in a beautiful historic building. After a wonderful day discovering Scotland’s largest city, the coach returns you to the hotel for your evening meal and a relaxing night.
Wednesday: Perth – Scotland’s Historic Riverside City
Today, you’ll enjoy a visit to Perth, a charming small city set beside the River Tay. After leaving the hotel, we make our way into the city to visit the newly redeveloped Perth Museum, home to the historic Stone of Destiny, one of Scotland’s most important national symbols. The museum tells the story of the city and its heritage in a modern and accessible setting.
Following our visit, the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. You can explore the city centre at your own pace, browse independent shops, enjoy a riverside walk or visit attractions such as St John’s Kirk, ideal for a gentle wander. Later in the day, we return to the hotel in time for dinner.
Thursday: Edinburgh – Scotland’s Iconic Capital
After breakfast, you head to Edinburgh, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. On arrival, you’ll have free time in the morning to explore at your own pace. You may wish to stroll along the Royal Mile, relax in Princes Street Gardens, browse the shops, or simply soak up the atmosphere of the historic Old Town.
In the afternoon, we visit the National Museum of Scotland, a fascinating attraction showcasing Scotland’s history, culture and innovation. After our visit, there may be time to continue exploring the city before, in the late afternoon, the coach returns you to the hotel for your final evening meal.
Friday: Homeward Bound
After a hearty breakfast, you depart the hotel and begin the journey home. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery as you travel, returning with fond memories of three of Scotland’s most distinctive cities.
