10th May 2027 – Ferry Crossing and Arrival in Enniscorthy
Travel by coach and board the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin, Sit back and relax as we travel to the historic town of Enniscorthy in County Wexford, where we stay at the welcoming Treacy’s Hotel, ideally located in the heart of the town. After checking in, take time to settle into your surroundings. You may wish to enjoy a gentle stroll through Enniscorthy’s charming streets, browse the local shops or simply relax before dinner at the hotel this evening.
11th –13th May 2027 - Irish House Party
During our stay we enjoy a selection of memorable experiences and excursions showcasing the rich history and traditions of the region. One highlight is a guided walking tour of Enniscorthy with local historian Jack Burtchaell, bringing the town’s fascinating past to life. We also visit the world-famous Waterford Crystal, where skilled craftsmen demonstrate the art of creating these beautiful crystal pieces.
Another excursion takes us to the Dunbrody Famine Emigrant Ship, a full-scale replica of the vessel that carried Irish emigrants across the Atlantic, telling the powerful story of Ireland’s past.
Back at the hotel we enjoy some traditional Irish experiences, including a soda bread making demonstration, learning how to prepare a classic Irish coffee, and enjoying a complimentary glass of Guinness.
14th May 2027 - Return Journey
There will also be time at leisure to explore Enniscorthy at your own pace before we bid farewell to County Wexford and begin our journey home with many happy memories of our stay.
